Prologue

     "Run! Get out of here! It will be okay. I….I promise "
   Lin awoke with a scream, cold sweat was running down her face. She'd been having the same nightmare lately , the same tragic memory that never seemed to go away.

  It was a cold windy night in republic city, the trees were blowing, the turtle- ducks were sitting in a pond getting ready to go to sleep. Benders and Non-benders everywhere were in their warm cozy beds dreaming about climbing mountains or maybe even riding dragons through Republic city. The whole world was asleep, except for two women.
